Recently I was going to set up another google email account but after reading there licensing agreement I declined to do so. There licensing agreement is contradictory and one of the reasons the national unemployment rate is so high. Who in there right mind would sign a contract that clearly states you retain the copyright to the intellectual property you produce (written, visual) and in the same paragraph take those rights away. They should hire more employs if they need designers, writers, and artist to produce public campaigns to promote there services. I was under the impression that there email services was provided free to the public and funded by the sale of advertisements space within the software.
Fuck google and fuck the United States of America what have they done to protect the privacy and rights of the individual. If I wished to have my personal email open for public display/performance/distribution I would seek another avenue of communication. If they want to use my content publicly I want to get paid.
